Plan your dog’s next special event.

• AGGRESSIVE DOGS: Aggressive dogs, antagonistic barking or frequent humping will be not tolerated as both can cause dog fights and are generally annoying to our human guests. If your dog behaves in this manner, you will be asked to leave.
• FRIENDLY: Dogs must be friendly and well socialized to hang out.
• AREA: The area is the 17316sq/ft approx.
• BARKING: Excessive barking is not allowed. 
• BITES: If a person is bitten, contact the Wake Sheriff’s Department and the Health Department. 
• CHILDREN: Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 8 years of age are not permitted. This is a dog space, not a playground for children. Kids must be dog-friendly.
• COLLARS: No chain, choke or pronged collars. 
• DOGS IN HEAT: Female dogs in heat are not allowed. 
• DOG WASTE: Handlers must collect waste immediately and dispose of it in a receptacle. 
• GATE OPERATION: Only one gate should be open at a time in double-gated entry.
• HANDLERS: Handlers must be 16 years of age or older.

HOURS: 2:00pm to 9:00pm (Summer Time) 

• INJURIES/DAMAGES: Dog owners are responsible for injuries or damages caused by their dog.
• LEASHED: Dogs must be leashed when traveling to and from vehicles and when entering or exiting the fenced-in areas. 
• LICENSES & VACCINATIONS: Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated.
• MINIMUM AGE OF DOG: Dogs must be 4 months of age or older.
• NUMBER OF DOGS: Limit of two (2) dogs per handler/human.
• SMOKING: No smoking in or around the dog park. 
• SPECIAL USE AREA: The Special Use Area is available for rent, but can be used on a first come - first served basis if not reserved.
• TOYS: Only small dog toys are permitted. Do not bring toys for your children that can be confused for dog toys.
• UNATTENDED DOGS: may not be left unattended or out of the handler's sight.
